Steelers 2025 Kickoff Week Activities announced

The Steelers will kick off the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 7 when they travel to New York to take on the Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Before the team takes the field, Steelers fans will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities as the excitement builds for a new season.

"The start of the Steelers regular season is always an exciting time for Steelers Nation," said Ryan Huzjak, the Steelers Senior Vice President of Business Operations. "As fans ready for the return of football traditions and the Steelers gameday atmosphere, we're thrilled to present a full week of activities designed to channel that energy and build anticipation for the season ahead."

Thursday, Aug. 28 - Monday, Sept. 1

Kickoff and Rib Festival Click on the link below for full schedule and hours

The annual Kickoff and Rib Festival, presented by I.C. Light will take place at Acrisure Stadium over the Labor Day weekend. This western Pennsylvania staple marks the kickoff of football season and will run Thursday, Aug. 28 through Monday, Sept. 1.

The final day of the annual rib festival will be held on Labor Day, an opportunity to enjoy some of the best ribs and BBQ from around the country. The festival, which is held outside Acrisure Stadium on Art Rooney Avenue and West General Robinson, features award-winning vendors, music and fun for all.

Monday, Sept. 1

37th Annual Steelers Run Walk 8 a.m.

The race has become an annual tradition for competitive runners as well as families across the region and beyond. Once again, the race will be held in person on a level 3.1-mile course around the North Shore that finishes inside Acrisure Stadium, as well as a virtual aspect for fans around the globe to participate. There is also a Kids Fun Run for those nine and under, that is in person and virtual as well. The race is the main fundraiser for the Art Rooney Scholarship Fund and also benefits the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.

All registrants are automatically entered to win an autographed prize and a grand prize trip to the Steelers home opener vs. the Seattle Seahawks on Sept. 14. Registrants also receive a commemorative 2025 medal, t-shirt and goodie bag.

Tuesday, Sept. 2

Steelers Social Media Day of Giveaways

Steelers fans will be celebrated with a special day of giveaways. Throughout the day, fans will have opportunities to win exclusive prizes including home opener game tickets and autographed items. Fans are encouraged to make sure they are following along onSteelers social media channelsso they don't miss out.

Student Rush Pop-Up 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Steelers Student Rush is back for a third season and as a part of it the team will be hosting Student Rush Campus Coffee Pop-Ups. The first will be held on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at the William Pitt Union Plaza. Students who are signed up for Steelers Student Rush will be able to receive free flavored iced coffee, Steelers-branded giveaways, see Steely McBeam and print custom cookies with their photos on them through Becca Bakes Cookies, while supplies last.

Wednesday, Sept. 3

Student Rush Pop-Up 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Steelers Student Rush is back for a third season and as a part of it the team will be hosting Student Rush Campus Coffee Pop-Ups. The second will be held on the campus of Duquesne University on the main academic walk near Rooney Field. Students who are signed up for Steelers Student Rush will be able to receive free flavored iced coffee, Steelers-branded giveaways, see Steely McBeam and print custom cookies with their photos on them through Becca Bakes Cookies, while supplies last.

Thursday, Sept. 4.

Pittsburgh Public School Surprise Visit

Steely McBeam will be surprising students at one of the Pittsburgh Public Schools in the afternoon, visiting classrooms and handing out black and gold giveaway items to the kids.

Friday, Sept. 5

Kickoff Pop-Up Bar 5 p.m.-midnight

Join fellow Steelers fans at the Kickoff Pop-Up bar located in the Grant Street Lobby of the Omni William Penn Hotel. The bar will feature a black and gold theme, along with Steelers inspired food and beverages.

Saturday, Sept. 6

Pittsburgh Irish Festival 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

The Steelers are headed to Dublin, Ireland to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 28 and that means football is coming to the Pittsburgh Irish Festival. Fans can enjoy taking part in a 40-yard dash, quarterback toss and getting a shot at the Plinko board with Steelers giveaways. Tickets for the Irish Festival are required. Steelers Nation Unite Road Warriors Rally Wicked Wolf Tavern Hoboken, NJ 5-9 p.m.

Steelers Nation is everywhere, and all are invited to join the fun the night before the Steelers take on the Jets. Wicked Wolf Tavern in Hoboken, New Jersey will be the site of the Steelers Nation Unite Road Warriors Rally, a gathering of Steelers fans like no other. Highlights will include an appearance by a Steelers Hall of Famer Alan Faneca, an SNR broadcast, autographed prize giveaways, a giveaway item and food and beverages will be available for purchase.
